4th Place in Men's Physique Below 170 cm
Competing in the Men's Physique Below 170 cm category, James stepped onto the international stage alongside physique athletes representing countries from across Asia.
He finished the competition in 4th place, narrowly missing out on a podium finish while securing a strong result for Nepal.
The result adds another achievement to James's competitive journey, which has included success in both powerlifting and bodybuilding.
Before representing Nepal at Mr. Asia, James won U21 powerlifting titles in 2022 and 2023 and went on to become Mr. Kathmandu champion in 2024.
His fourth-place finish at Mr. Asia 2026 now adds an international result to that journey.
A Proud Moment for Ultimate Lifting Club
For everyone at Ultimate Lifting Club (ULC), seeing James represent Nepal and finish among the top competitors in his category is a proud moment.
Months of training, preparation and discipline went into reaching the stage in Bangkok. Finishing fourth at an Asian-level championship is a result that reflects the work James put into preparing for the competition.
It is also another encouraging result for ULC's competitive athletes following a successful September.
